Imposition of fines due to late filing of the below notifications in respect to Partnerships and Business Names Law (CAP.116)

As of 18th of December 2019,  the Registrar of Companies shall impose an administrative fine in case of late filing of the below notifications with the Registrar of Companies. The administrative fine shall amount to €50 plus €1 every day onwards counting from the day the deadline was exceeded and shall not exceed the amount of €250 for each default.

 FOR PARTNERSHIPS:

 (1)     Notification for change of the work place

Notice of the situation of the work place, and of any change therein, shall be submitted within seven (7) days from the date of change.

 (2)     Appointment, pause or amendment of the partner’s details

Notice of the change shall be submitted within seven (7) days from the date thereof.

 FOR BUSINESS NAMES:

 (1)     Notification for change of the work place

Notice  of the situation of the workplace, and of any change therein, shall be submitted within seven (7) days from the date of change.

 (2)     Notification of the owner’s details

Notice of the change of the owners’ details shall be submitted within seven (7) days from the date of change.
